Jennifer Swift was born in Australia, grew up in England and Germany, and has lived in Western Michigan, Western New York, Northern California, and Southern Connecticut. She currently lives in Washington DC.

She has a PhD in English from the University at Buffalo and an MA in Fiction Writing from Johns Hopkins.

Her short story, “Stories We Tell Now,” was published in the September 2019 issue of The Sun Magazine.

She is currently working on her first novel, All These Things Are True, based on her Aunt’s experience growing up and living in Australia during and after World War II.
